Seeing as we have an advantage this year in claiming guys who've been released (we get 2nd dibbs), there are already a bunch of guys who could conceivably come in and add nice depth to our thin spots.

Right now I'd put our thin areas at:

DT, CB, C, OL

Look who's already available. Anyone know much about these guys (whether they're done or not)?

How does it work? Can we just claim any of these guys and then they have to sign with us? Once we claim one, do we move to the bottom of the waiver order or can we get dibs on all of them?

Where are you getting these, I assume kffl.com. Honestly I wouldnt mind seeing maybe Hawthorne and carter brought in for a look.

I believe we get dibbs on every single player that is waived. San francisco is the only team that can beat us to the punch.

One of the perks of having such a terrible record.

I'd personally like to see us pick up a DT and a CB. C Vince Carter could be a nice find too if we let him develop.

Wasn't Ashley Ambrose a pretty good corner in this league? I'd bring him in for a look too. Our 4th corner is vulnerable...

ambrose is like 34 or 35. he said he was retiring if he was cut by KC.
 
damn jarret payton got cut..i really thought he was gonna make it for the Titans
 
How are you guys looking at LB? We cut Eric Alexander (was with Saban at LSU), and I would really like to see him on the PS for one more year. His agent is quoted as saying if he isn't put on a teams 53 he will resign with us. The only two teams I'm really worried about picking him up are the Browns and you guys.

How many defensive tackles do you guys want Miami to carry? They currently have five on the final roster. Keith Traylor, Vonnie Holliday, Jeff Zgonina, Josh Shaw, and Manuel Wright. No one that has been released is as good as anyone that is on Miami's team right now.
 
Greg Randall is a solid G/T to have as a backup. I heard we were going after him last offseason. Plus he is only 27 or 28.
