Culpepper AGENT

Because he is his own man and doesn't need any loudmouthed, self-promoting greaseball to handle his biz. Plus he wants to make sure he is quoted correctly.

I firmly believe in having an agent as you enter the league, to prepare you for the pre-draft process and be with you through the end of your rookie contract...but after that, I'd be my own agent too. 3 percent of $100 million is still $3 million.

anyone have his number? ill ask if he wants me to be his agent but ill just really push paper and read speeches he writes.

Mason Ashe was his agent from the time he entered the league until this summer.

Daunte fired him after his initial handling of asking for the raise that Wilf promised - and then Daunte became his own agent.

he does it all himself, he actually talked about in earlier on in the offseason when he was first traded

I think I would want an agent. Let them do all the BS involved.

Spoken like somebody who has an idea. Negotiating a contract is just the beginning of what an agent does for a player. Would somebody try to perform a surgery on themselves to save money? Would you represent yourself in court on a criminal charge? You can't put a price on piece of mind. Anytime a player tries to show how simple it is to represent themselves it usually ends up costing them alot more in the long-run (i.e. Tedy Bruschi). I've spoken to GM's who laugh at players who do this.
