culpepper article on nfl.com

Just a typical article for todays media.
Kirwan was also the guy who blamed Miami fans for the fact that they wanted to get rid of Wannstedt. We wouldn't see the truth, only look at the record. In fact he were a good coach and just the Ricky fiasco made him look bad.
So don't expect him to have any clue or overview of everything that is going wrong with the fins.

Why? He doesn't say anything crazy in this article.

I think he's pretty accurate with this one.

Definitely not with statements like this

"Remember the six-game winning streak the Dolphins finished with last year? Frerotte was the QB the whole time and he connected on eight touchdown passes to just three interceptions during that stretch."

Sage played over a Qtr in the Buffalo game and won it and pitched a save against the Jets

good point..........he just reads the stats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We watch the games, they just read the box scores.

Again, why do Dolfans get pissed whenever an analyst is negative, but right, when it comes to the Dolphins??? Why is a writer who is correct an idiot??? My favorite example of this was 2002. Pete Prisco picked the Jets to win the AFC East. If I had a penny for all of the Prisco is an idiot, or Prisco does it again threads that were started I could have retired. Guess what folks, Prisco stuck to his pick and he ended up being RIGHT!!! Guess how many "Pete Prisco was RIGHT the Jets won the AFC East" threads were started??? RIGHT!!! ZERO.

??? The two games I have watched Daunte play for Miami tell me he is right on the money. I am amazed at the love for Daunte considering he has done nothing for the Dolphins but has cost Miami two wins in two games. Why all the love? Fiedler and Frerotte never got this kind of love when they played decent and contributed to Miami actually winning some games. Feeley was the devil himself when he played like Daunte has so far. Yet...a lot of people are acting like Daunte is our savior??? I hope he is, but I haven't seen anything since he has been in a Dolphin uniform that would indicate anything close to that.

Hmmm...maybe that is why Saban called for patience with Daunte this week bc it is going to take time.

Exactly. So lazy. I'm as down on DC as anyone right now, but to say that his whole career was nothing more than throwing it up to moss and lettting randy outjump DBs is as bankrupt of a statement there is. If ALL any QB has to do is throw it up to Moss, then why couldn't Collins and Brooks accomplish 40 Tds?

Facts are facts until Culpepper proves different. You can be a Dolphin fan and still live in the world of reality you know.

I think he trivializes Culpepper's skills, but his analysis is on point until proven otherwise.

he also says daunte has been good just because of randy moss

people fail to realize the stupidity in this comment

carson palmer has chad johnson

jake delhomme has steve smith

ben roethlisberger has hines ward

must i continue?

Hey, I tried to tell you guys, but as always, people look at stats and forget to look at the whole picture.

The guy absolutely hit it out of the park. He has a bullseye. Daunte has done squat without Randy Moss. Chris Chambers will never be a Randy Moss. Hell, Chris Chambers will have a hard time duplicating last year's numbers at this pace. The simple fact is this year is directly aligned with his stats from last year.... His first minus Randy Moss. It's simple math. The guy had a GREAT receiver in Randy Moss. Let's not forget that Randy Moss missed a ridiculous amount of time last year, but still finished above the 1,000 plateau with the little time he played. He's injury prone, but when he is healthy he's one of the best receivers in the history of the game. The numbers support that. Too bad he's such a damn punk and more people would give him the respect he deserves.
