I saw for the first time, late in the game, he was finally starting to play like an NFL QB. I think some of his CONFIDENCE IS BACK!! His play up until that point was ATROCIOUS. I think he improves every week NOW!!!

Don't get lost in wishful thinking. Cpep looked better, however the struggling passing game and sacks still shows problems.

no he isnt..he hasnt progressed any...if you were at the game you would be able to see that

what's up with all the CAPS LOCK THREAD TITLES? I still think it's too early to say either getting better or not. He has looked absolutely horrible, and looked it again this last weekend. If doesn't turn the ball over we will always have a chance, so seeing no inno's was great, and I'm willing to wait to see him play at his expected level. I want to think that it's right around the corner, but only time will tell.

his comfort zone is in pro player turf....

im not sure about him being more comfortable but i think he is understanding how to just manage the game better. thats the biggest thing we need from him until his leg is back to full strength.

well, im giong to go ahead and agree with the topic creator. He seemed to be showing that he was getting a little more comfortable this game, and at the end. I think the TD run meant a lot to him, and those last few passes he seemed to be in charge of like he should. Still needs to be better, a lot better, but i agree with him.

He is comfortable cashing those huge checks for doing nothing

hahahaha nothing ? wow, getting beat up because he is behind the crappiest o-line in pro ball is nothing eh?

objectivity is not your strong suit eh?

Culpepper is still bad. I wish people would stop diverting the blame to the oline.

Now in 2004 that was the worst oline in history. Yet some still said it was Feeleys fault. Well here we are now and our oline is providing enough time for an average QB to make 2-3 reads. Culpepper is barely making 1. Last game he was under pressure because he put himself under pressure. Enough with the blame on the oline, they played fine yesterday.

I'm not going to say I haven't seen improvement in Culpepper, because I have, and although minimal, it's an improvement none the less. That said however, he's still not playing up to expectations....

I think in time, as he adjusts to the OL deficiencies, he should improve. It wont happen overnight like we all are hoping for, but the longer these guys play together, the better chance they have to improve. We'll just have to be patient and let it happen, if it's meant to be, things will only get better....

PHINZ RULE!!!!
