We lost out in obtaining Stallworth and Washington in free agency because they wanted a great QB to through to them and both were uncertain of the Dolphins QB situation. Is this because Nobody thinks Culpepper can play anymore or is this all about a backup plan. I say lets give him a chance to prove to everyone that he still has what it takes to be the best. If Culpepper sucks then we will have Lemon to step in. If D.C. is still injured and really can not play then lets move on and get a replacement ( Carr or Green). I say draft a QB in the first or second to be groomed by Cam. Quinn or Stanton is good for me. Go Fins in 2007:dolphins::ninja::dolphins:

Welcome to reality. The QB is a major question for us. DC - no one knows. Lemon is unknown. We let the left side of our OL go.

We probably stand with the exist WR corp and draft at least two. If we get Trent Green that solidifies the QB.

Welcome to rebuilding. Too many questions on the team leaves a lot a questions for FAs.

My opinion is that Daunte will be our quarterback and will be successful in the 2007 season. I have no worries abou tour QB situation this year.

I hope to think that you are right because Culpepper could be a monster this year.:dolphins:

CP is NOT the answer.

Cut CP, pickup Carr, and draft Quinn, Stanton, Edwards, or Jeff Rowe from Nevada.

GO PHINS~!

AGREED AQUA MAN,now can we just retire this thread.

I said the same thing!

In another post I said the same thing, we're probably gonna draft 2 WR's with one being our return guy. We'll draft one late round QB and bring in a lot of bodies in the OL but I expect that we'll grab up depth on the OL after the June 1st cuts. One way or another, look for us to pick up more draft picks before April's draft and that means more opportunities to draft Wr's and O linemen.

I cried last year when Saban picked Culpepper over Brees, wouldnt mind getting Green if he isnt shell-shocked over the concussion, prefer Stanton think Quinns draft stock is on the rise

Sorry to break it to you, but if you were at the Buffalo game last year when DC started you would know why he is being written off. He held on to the ball for what seemed like forever. He forced the ball into double coverage. He has fumblelites. He is not mobile at all and seemed like he had brick for shoes. Basically looke like a wounded Duck with o sense of direction. I still dont think DC problem is the knee as much as it is the Noggin. He was playing like this for Minny before the knee.

Tom Brady is the best QB in football.

Who wouldn't get "written off" by a WR who wants to play for Brady?

Okay, maybe Peyton Manning but Indy has Harrison/Wayne.

Cpep has never done anything of meaning and probably never will. How anyone can look at him an think anything different I don't know? One or who seasons of great stats are good in fantasy football but that is about it.

He dosent scare anyone, I remember when we signed him how everyone in the division was happy because they knew how tough the D is in the AFC East and they knew Cpep wouldn't be able to get it done.

One Year hasn't changed anything. There was nothing wrong with his arm last year and his legs were good enough to move around in the pocket.

Just because Saban wasted a 2nd and a ton of money on a poor QB last year doesn't mean he deserves to stick around so everyone can make excuses for him.

DC had some problems last year which I don't think you can blame on a knee injury....such as poor decision making, fumbling the ball, not seeming to know the plays....I just think DC has lost it. Maybe he will get back to somewhat where he was at in Minny, but I am not counting on it. I think we rolled the dice with DC and lost....so we just make the best of things.

The problem is that he wasn't very good in Minnesota either. Yeah, he completed a lot of passes -- by closing his eyes and heaving it downfield for Randy Moss. But, that sandlot football stuff doesn't work against AFC defenses.
