Culpepper and McNabb are very similar QBs while they can scramble they also have sweet throwing arms but which one do you think is superior: i personnaly think McNabb as he has done more with lesser recivers while culpepper had Moss

Thoughts

i personally would have culpepper. culpepper is the better passer of the two imo.

They really aren't that similar...DM was a running QB that morphed into a very good passing QB. DC was a pocket passer who had a little better than normal mobility. McNabb has 4 NFC championships and a SB berth...He has had less to work with, but operates in a system that is conducive to putting up good QB numbers (WCO)...DC has operated in a more downfield passing type offense and has flourished. Statistically, DC has had two better seasons than DMs best season...The difference has been on-field general-ship (if there is such a phrase)...DM has been the undisputed leader of his team on the field. In Minny, Moss was the center of attention, not DC...

Given all the druthers, for our offense, DC is the best option...

My 2 cents is this, when i heard about the possibility of getting brees or pepper, my first wish was brees. Then, my wish turned to whoever can make us a playoff/suberbowl contender. While this was going on, me and a friend i work with got into an argument, he is a bills fan and was disgusted by the thought of us landing pepper, when i said pepper wasnt as good as qb's such as mcnabb, he googled their stats and at the same time i found the pepper manifesto, enough said, im all for pepper, i would have stood behind any player we got, but his stats are crazy, and if he can even perform up to 80%, we will be in for some good seasons, lets go fins!!!!

They aren't really similar at all other than both can run if they have to(though that might change at least short term w/ Daunte's injury). Daunte is a far superior passer BUT McNabb is a guy who makes big plays and wins games.

???? WTF?? Who cares, we have DC!

McNabb is a little better at reading the defense but Culpepper makes up for that with an arm that can place the ball on a dime from 60+ yards.

Culpepper's arm is more accurate. McNabb often throws balls in the dirt and fails to hit open WR's.

The fact is, neither has shown himself to be a great team leader. McNabb seems to be a good guy (you never know - see, OJ), and he's a great scrambler with a stellar D. He makes some big plays. But, he does not appear to be a guy that the players are taking up for - I really didn't see the team come to his defense with the TO issues. That's surprising considering that DM took them to 3 championships before TO ever arrived.

I think this is a fresh start for Culpepper. He will not be as good as he was at Minnesota - he had Randy Moss and a great system with Linehan. But, he will be a much better QB than anything the Dolphins have had since Marino and that will help this team significantly. If he returns to full health and can fit within the Offensive system, he'll be fine.

The bottom line is ... will we win and be competitive with the top teams? If so, he's doing his job.
