We are allowed to argue the virtues of our team, however we are not allowed to hear from our new QB…Why ? No press conference, just Coach Saban. No interview, just an email. I wonder if he would be allowed to ask for directions on his first ride to Dolphin Stadium…

Saban does not feel that any one player is bigger than the team. If you want to hear from the QB, Watch ESPN. He talks, he wears dolphin gear, and he throws a football.

there was an interview on ESPN. Plus I think it's a great idea that Saban doesn't want the "stars" to have PC, when role players don't.

Sabans philosophy is perfect...every single role on the team is important. Sabans philososphy would then mean a press conference for every player and hes not going to do that. The whole is better than the sum of its parts.

He's been on ESPN all week, did you miss those interviews?

I totally support and agree with the no press conference thing unless your going to do it for all the players, I love the whole everybody is equal on the team thing.

Man the local media here HATES it. Channel 7's Steve Shapiro has bashed Saban numerous times because of this. It's great to watch :D

All of the Miami media hates it. 790 the ticket bashes him for his media policy, so does WQAM (Mad Dog, Goldie, Bokamper). They call it silly. He better win consistently, because these guys are geared up to tear him down if the the shield of winning begins to crack.
