Culpepper Throwing in Team Drills

yeah that's great news..i have a feeling he will be ready for the opener..he can already run straight too

Keep working with him Chris Chambers! I think those two should bunk together or something. Like, throw the football around after dinner, throw it around in the morning, etc...heh.

They should deff get married...

:sidelol:

Every day it keeps getting better...the Pats, Jets, and Bills are shaking in their shoes. I love it.

Can't wait to see chambers let the speed out downfield and C-Pep throwing deep to him!!!

Running straight isnt a problem, i tore my MCL and was running straight ahead in about a month. The problem comes when you start cutting, and dropping back and setting the back foot. It would be very encouraging if we knew that Culpepper was taking a snap from center dropping back and planting on that knee.

whoa whoa whoa bro relax.. its april 5th for petes sake...at this point in time relative to his rehab he is doing great and this is awesome news...

Do the drills we're talking about even require Pepper run? If he's just throwing balls to receivers, there is no reason why he shouldn't be able to do that from what I can tell. Heck, he could possibly even do that on crutches depending on how far the passes were (anything he could throw while seated, basically).

How often did Dan Marino have to run the ball ??....not often.....DC will just stay in the pocket now and kill them.

no im relaxed man im just saying throwing and running straigt ahead basically means nothing. If you have that surgery and it is unsuccessful you would still beable to run straight ahead at this point. I just would like to know if he is dropping back when he is throwing or just simply throwing. I mean i played QB and tore my MCL and at the one and half month point i was running straight ahead and doing some throwing.

he's probably just throwing from a stationary position at this point.. I wouldnt think that he is ready to do any dropping back or cutting just yet...
