Everyone fell in love with Daunte, especially when you look at his 39td year. That year was overshadowed by Manning who threw 49. manning that year played the NFC North, the same division pepe played in. Manning against the NFC North that year threw 17 td's and 1 int in 4 games. that divison was weak for years, in Daunte played those teams twice a year. And as for the Brady-pep contest. not even a debate. 2004 proved that as well. Manning that year throws 49 td's, he even threw td's with big leads (thanksgiving was an example). But he gets to the playoffs and puts up 3 points. The next week brady goes to Pitt who had the #1 D and were 15-1, on the Road the pats put up 41 points. 2003 SB the Panthers score 29, and brady throws for over 350 yards and 3 td's, yet threw 4 ints against us in the regular season. What Im saying is that great qb's play better against the better teams. if anyone was a system qb it was Daunte when you look at how Cunningham did etc. Hopefully pep turns it around, but man would i rather have brees right now. and to end the whose better argument:

Seriously ask yourself, if brady and Culpepper became free agents tomorrow, out of 32 gm's who wood they rather have, Im willing to bet all 32 would pick brady.

That's like asking if you'd rather have Peyton or McNair...

On another note...

How does that information you provided there make you feel that Brees would be doing any better behind this OLine?

You've got Manning on the mind, friend. Do I hear wedding bells in your future? :rolleyes2

? i dont get it...what does Manning have to do with what I said

So his 39 TD year was a fraud......

What about his 33 TD 16 INT first year starting? Also a fraud?

If we were 2-0 or even 1-1 you would be tossing his salad, interesting thoughts from another "fan".:tantrum::shakeno::fire:

Yeah good play does tend to go hand in hand with a player's popularity. Amazing concept.

No doubt about it. Dunsay without Moss is the turnovers without the production.

i already posted this about his o4 season, showing daunte was great without randy moss

daunte made moss in some ways
