it is going on the fifth week now and no improvement what-so-ever...last week I said that if pepper could not win against the texans he should be bench and Joey should get a shot.....and that is how i feel today..lets give joey a shot cause at least if we lose it would be expected....i personally will go as far as to say that i would rather have Fiedler more than Pepper...it just wanted your guys thought on this...

i dont think i would go as far as saying we'd be better off with fiedler than pepper. i wouldve rather stuck w/ frerotte. i'm not sure y so many people didnt like him. he helped us get on a 6 game winning streak and almost into the playoffs last year. however, i do believe pepper should be benched and see what joey can do with this offense. i think he looked pretty good in preseason and maybe things will change for him now that he's with a new team.

Fiedler over Culpepper? Please......................

What we need is an O-line, or one that at least resembles one.

No quarterback can succeed and no runningback can run behind the mess we have on our line right now.

this could have been posted in one of the millions of uniformed start joey threads.

Amen brotha. Add in the fact that Mularkey is calling more passes and less running and that equals more punishment because.

1. Behind this line, any QB is a sack waiting to happen
2. Ronnie's not getting enough carries to say he's our feature back

ya but joey is use to playin behind a horrible offensive line....and plus he gives a spark to that team that pepper doesnt....not that culpepper sucks...wait no he does cause he isnt winning any games for the team..and a good qb can play behind any line.

At this moment, sadly, Fiedler would give us the best chance to win.

Dude....Marino and Walter Peyton couldn't play behind this Line:shakeno:

You guys are tooooooo funny. We are losing due to a number of reasons. and Culpeper is just one of the reasons. One of the major reasons is the play calling. Mularkey is not a effective OC. He is horrible and I'm sure I can call a game better then he can giving the same talent and I'm just a High school coach. Mularkey is the main reason why we stink. He is to conservative and afraid to open the game up. TOOOOO many trick plays that are not fooling anybody not even my 5 year old. Ie. 1 st play of the tex. game. He calls a fake reverse screen play. Are you stupid. You know we have played poor thus far this year and blitzing us hurts us bad. Just a week prior Tenn. gave us fits blitzing. WHAT ON EARTH WOULD MAKE YOU THINK THAT WE WOULDN"T GET BLITZED? especially the 1st play of the game. If there is ever a time to test your game plan it is the very 1st play of the game. If it works you keep doing it. If it doen't you make a change. Last year Mcghee was terrible. He leads the league in rushing right now. JP lossman was beat out by Holcome. JP look pretty good. He look good against us in particulare. Price is even back making plays. I guess bottom line is Mularkey just sucks and we should have hired Mike Martz...........

You know what, Gus Frerotte did play pretty well last year. I think Nick Saban should have kept him with Daunte being here too. I guess many of you would love to have Drew Brees right now huh? He wouldn't have faired any better than Daunte except he would have more mobility. But Gus Frerotte was decent last year. I think coach Saban should have brought him back. Lets face it, Chris Chambers DID make the pro bowl with Frerotte at quarterback, so what does that tell you. Maybe Saban jumped the gun too quick and let him go instead of bringing him back and see if Gus could have done better this year with Chambers as opposed to last year. But to still have Jay Fiedler?? HELL NA!!!!!!!!!

For those of you who question if Jay Fiedler should still be here....Hell to the No!!!!! And to prove my point....why isn't he in the league now, hmmmm?? He didn't pan out well with the Bucs and he's not on anyone else's roster either as far as I know.

This is the stupidest thing i've ever read. How is putting an inferior QB behind one the leagues worst offensive lines gonna help win games? What do you expect Culpepper to do? Shoot lightning out of his eyes and levitate to the endzone? He's one player. And he's playing his position better then most of the guys on this team. This team's biggest problems lie with the offensive line and the secondary. Why don't they run the ball to open the passing game? Because Ronnie can't get out of the backfield. Is it his fault theres no blocking? You want someone benched? Start with the 5 guys upfront.

Let's not even compare Marino & Culpepper! Marino would put a stop to this blitzing madness real quick.

this is a joke....joey harrington is this the same joey harrington the has consistently been one of the worst in the league and because he played decent against scrubs in the PREseason you want him..save it !!!!! this is the same guy that in DET. at even the slightest hint of pressure would shat his pants and throw it up for anyone to catch...while most of the time it wasnt anyone wearing his jersey. if anyone here believes we lost that game vs. Texans because pep then u are a clown and obvisously didnt watch the game.
