Yea, I know its not anything as close as Denver weather at this time of year, but it definetely beats 85 degree weather. With the weather tomorrow through Thursday being in the 50's and 60's, we can hopefully get a couple of practices done with this kind of weather, to make the adjustment to Denver a lil bit easier. Just felt like pointing this out

over analyzing if you ask me.

dont the dolphins practice at home then go to denver like thursday night or friday?

Temp isn't a big thing. People say the altitude is a no big deal thing too....Having been to Fort Carson for TDY, and, running? I assure you, the altitude is a difference.

It is a blessing for all of us that actually live in Miami, that's for sure.

But I think most of the NFL players have played in cold weather games, and a lot of them came from colleges up north too..

I hate to break this to you but 50's and 60's will most likely not get the phins team acclimated to the weather in Denver. Of course its possible the weather could be similar this week.

Even so however, its not so much the weather, but the altitude. And there is no way they can get that replicated. Besides, scientific studies have shown that one week of practice in a given weather situation is not going to be enough to get the body acclimated to playing in such a condition.

Basically, I think the fact that the weather is cooler than normal in Miami this week will have no bearing on the game itself. Well, in fact Im certain of it.

By US Army regulations, you are immune from a record PT Test (Pushups/Situps/2Mi Run) for 10 days starting at the report date to your unit of assignment at Ft Carson. CO They didn't make that regulation off thier cuff.

The altitude sucks. My country's soccer team played in Bolivia in an altitude of over 3 miles, and man is it tiring. And the ball flies and goes much faster. And a week isnt going to make a huge difference, but its still going to make some kind of difference.
I was just pointing it out, not making a fact or a blog about it
