Dwayne Wade at SG ( I hate the guy but I have to admit he is good)

T-mac at F

Rasheed Wallace F

Shaq C ( hate the guy but he is nearly instopable from 2 feet away)

With McGrady's back I don't think he's a good choice. If guys were 100% healthy I would go.
PG- Steve Nash
SG-Kobe
SF- Kevin Garnett
PF- Tim Duncan
C- Yao

Duncan isn't healthy and Yao was hurt at the end of the year so right now I would go with:
PG- Steve Nash
SG- Kobe
SF-Artest
PF-Dirk
C- Dwight Howard

I went for a clutch team that shoots well, plays defense and has plenty of championship experience. There's six rings among my starting lineup.

To me, the toughest decision is at PG between Nash and Billups. Nash is the better pure point guard and offensive force. But Billups brings solid offense and great defense, along with a stouter body.

You guys aren't putting together guys who would be willing to share the ball with each other. Most of these line-ups in here would have horrific team chemistry. Also, HAHAHAHAHAH @ Rasheed Wallace.

Here's my young, talented line-up that would produce great team chemistry:

1-Chauncey Billups
2-Dwyane Wade
3-LeBron James
4-Elton Brand
5-Dwight Howard (yes!)

Sorry, but with Wade & Bron, I doubt guys like KG would be satisfied.

The thread title stated current "nba dream team." Which I interpreted as the best starting lineup.

Would like Nash but until he applies for citizenship we'll have to wait. It would be something to see players of that calibre running a princton offense....all the guards can drive and the big men can shoot.
