Curtis Martin has been placed on the list (I believe it was Will Poole on that list for a while last year)

Anyway not ground breaking news but I heard it on ESPN news, sorry no link but I hope you guys trust me seeing as I dont go around making up rumors

Well, atleast the Jets have uh... hmm.. no one. :] jk..

They still got Blaylock, and Cedric Houston showed a few sparks, nothing special though. JJ Arrington type performance.

If he doesnt get activated before TC he is out until season start, and if he isnt activated then he is out till week 9 and if he isnt activated then he is out till the playoffs, that would pretty much mean he is out all together since the Jets arent making the playoffs...

it would be better for him to be out. The jets have a week o line, and a QB that really wont be able to keep Ds guessing

I am a great fan of Curtis Martin, but I really thought that the jets should have kept Lamont Jordan. Even though there stats were not too far apart, Jordan is younger with a lot less mileage on his legs. Unfortunately I think the Jets are going to learn what it is like when you get rid of a guy too late rather than too early.

and with no QB on the team, he is going to be counted on way more than normal. I don't think he will finish the season, if he even gets started.
What a career though

his career will get him into the hall of fame no doubt. The Jets will also retire his #. A CLASS act who the Jets will be hard pressed to replace when the time comes.

Martin has had an amazing run in the NFL but i think it's time for him to hang em up. The Jets are looking toward the future more than anything and his body is just banged up.

Id bet after this year he lands with another team (sort of an emmit smith type thing, even though I think he has more juice left than Emmit did)

or

Like M. Faulk backing up a young guy
