We looked back at this dimwit and turned to salt for it.
How much of a bust is this guy? What a moron. I think he pretty much killed the game at the end of the first half by not having enough between the ears to run out of bounds and kill the clock. He's the only guy on the team that routinely makes poorer decisions than Tannehill. That whole two-minute offense was set up with some great play-calling and great execution where our runners (Miller) and receivers caught the ball, advanced about 10 yards, and quickly got out of bounds. It was really clicking, and it looked like the Fins were going to take the lead before the half.
Then they called Daniel Thomas's number. They gave him a great play that got a good chunk of yards and, better still, a completely empty field outside the numbers. Instead of being happy with the gain and the first down, Thomas decides to cut inside and goes down after another measly 3 yards. 39 seconds were on the clock at the play's end. This boneheaded move cost almost 30 seconds! They went from being able to run another 3 or 4 plays to only having one shot at a TD and then the FG.
It's boneheaded **** like this that drives me crazy. You don't even need to play football to know what to do as a ballcarrier in a certain situation. Haven't these guys played madden? This isn't stuff you learn in a classroom! There were so many mistakes yet again today. Who do we blame? Philbin? Tannehill? Nobody on this team (on the offense) seems to have a natural ability to make things happen on the fly. There are a few, but we never see anything materialize because the most important people are the biggest doofuses. The only guy I can excuse is Jarvis Landry because he's a rookie. They need to clean house and get rid of the rest of these morons though.
Cut Daniel Thomas and don't look back. No more busts.
