Would you trade Henne and a 1st for Jay Cutler?

My answer: YES!

What reasonable deal would you make? There will be a lot of competition for him.

A lot of of people here think that the Dolphins have a good Qb situation. On the other hand, there are those that are still concerned and I am one of those.

We have Pennington that has never put together two healthy seasons in a row, is entering the last year of his contract, and whose arm is a liability.

We have Henne who is to date unproven.

We have Beck, who is for all we know, is available for any deal.

I've felt for a long time that one of the worst things to happen to this franchise was that meaningless winning streak at the end of Saban's first year putting us at 9-7. Why did that hurt so bad? I'll tell you, it's because it put us too far down the draft from being able to draft, you guessed it, Jay Cutler.

you play to win the game. you dont play for draft picks. how you can say winning is meaningless is completely beyond me. i would rather see my team win any day of the week.

Nope. As great as it'd be to see Cutler in a Phins uni...I don't think it'll happen.

Probably about as much chance as the LA Clippers have of winning 73 games next season.

I don't want him but I bet if Tampa still had Gruden, They would trade the draft for him.

Gruden always wanted that type of player and it is a shame that he isn't a HC anymore to go out and get him.

well this is about as likely as Ricky Williams and Terrell Owens doing a broadway musical called weed and me

Gruden would have traded this years and next years draft for him.

So the 2004, 4-12 record, or going 1-15 wasnt worse than going 9-7? Thank you lord that thise who posts like this are not nfl GM's

Wow, so far I am a little shocked that the consensus is no. I'm not sure that I can ever recall a situation where a proven young Qb, with a fantastic arm, has been available. How do you not make a strong push for him? I get that reports paint him in a cry-baby, but without questions he would make this offense top caliber for every year that he is healthy.

What asset does Tampa Bay have to with the Broncos for? After all, the Broncos do not get a Qb that could start in return. The teams that are in play are those that have young Qb that the Broncos may be interested it. Browns are a possibility with assets in Quinn or Anderson. Also, as of today, Stafford with his solid wonderlic score and workouts maybe an option, if Detroit wants to make a deal. Of course he comes at such a high price. Leinart, Trent Edwards, Campbell, and possibly Henne are options off the top of my head.
