I just wanted to point out that the Broncos additional first round pick may end up hurting the Dolphins.

The Broncos are a team that will be new to running the 3-4 defense. Seeing they have no personnel to do so, it probably means 3-4 players early in the draft. They now own the 12 and 18th pick in the draft.

You may end up seeing an additional 3-4 defensive player off the board before we pick. Seeing that Chicago runs a Cover 2 type of scheme, which many of the hybrid 3-4 players would not fit well in.

Again this is a lot of speculation, but just something I thought about.

definitely something that could change the beginning of the draft

The offseason is really slow isn't it....lol...but your thoughts do make sense since the Broncos are completely rebuilding their defense...legitimate point.

It is speculation and nothing we can really worry about. I know Miami is looking for 3-4 pass rushers, but it is possible they are not targeting one in the first round. What if Miami is targeting a wide receiver in round one? If that is the case, then the Cutler trade helps Miami. The Bears desperately need help at wide receiver, and now that is one less team in front of Miami looking for one. Maybe someone like Nicks or Britt does indeed fall to #25.

I was thinking that as well, but I am thinking that the Dolphins may be going for a corner in this draft. Maybe Butler from UCONN, but either way I was thinking that any OLB of value would be gone anyways (leaving us with Cushing or Matthews whom I do no longer feel warrent the #25).

Very good point, and you're right, the more who are switching to the 3-4, the more competion we'll have for players, and the Broncos will defintely be on the look out for those guys...I'm not sure they still won't go for one of the 2 top QB's meaning they can package a deal to move up a little vs moving to the top positon..and get one of the 2 guys which then takes a little pressure off the 3-4 guys for us.. The reason I say this is because they got Kyle Orton, who I'm not sure they're sold on as their starting QB..

I Think Tyson Jackson And Maualuga Or Matthews Or Maybin Goes To Them

Im hopin they blow one pick on a NT and trade out of the 1st. Probably wont happen, but I can hope. Although the sweet sound of Jet fans heartbreak is better than anything else I could hope for at this point.

not worried, they still need a qb

IMO at 12 they will get sanchez or stafford, then use 18 on a a defensive player like we expected.

meaning that if stafford goes 1st overall, hurts the jets by them not being able to get sanchez, or they will have to make a deal to get ahead of denver

I think the bigger impact will be who takes Malcom Jenkins. That could really determine if Vonta or Butler are there. I think there will still be a great OLB or two on the board when we pick at 25 if that is what they are looking at.
