Man,

Campbell is really in-tuned with the Patriots: How they play the short games, How hard it is to get pressure on Brady, Why Gronk is one hell of a matchup problem(He does EVERYTHING very well),How they exploit team weakness etc.

Hell of a listen...oh and he called out J.Taylor not by name ofcourse for not handling his business in the 2nd half of the Houston game. Take a listen...

What did JT do? I dont recall? Or was he called out because they tore him up in the second half?

Oh he just freely and joyously took it the entire second half from Nate Washington...Definitely did not compete. Because if that's his best then he has no business being a starter.

This game can be won, but it rests solely on QB pressure. Brady wilts when he gets hit always has, if you get pressure on him they have to keep the TE's in that means no time for Gronk's seam routes to develop or him fake blocking drifting out into space to be a outlet valve. Their run game is **** and so is their secondary we can run with these guys but Suh, Wake, OV all have to have A+ game

Sounds like he knew more about the Patriots then the ex-coach who shall not be named.

Joe did pretty OK against the Patriots the last two years, honestly. We won our home games vs New England in 2013 and 2014. I can't rip Joe for how he had us prepared for NE.

No one is ripping Joe on our performances against the Pats. It's just encouraging to hear that Coach Campbell really seems to have a very good pulse on who the Pats are and what they do well. Many of what he says about Gronk has been spot on and said by a few posters on the board. Pretty much everything he's said has been mention here several times before.

I'm curious based on what he/they think they know about the Pats. How do we play them?

DC only made mention of Taylor when he talked about the pass he defended on 1st Houston series of the game. I didn't hear anything about the 2nd half.

He does "get it". Just as BB's matchup exploitation style has been a successful recipe for a long time, so is DC's punch you in the mouth recipe. Unless you have Aaron Rogers or a younger Peyton Manning forget trying to outsmart and out scheme BB's team w Brady running the offense. You only beat them by playing great fundamental football like the Giants didn't their 2 SBs and really, like Seattle did last year (won turnover battle, had a balanced attack). This is why the Jets usually give the Pats a tough time. It's the only way you're going to have a chance and DC knows that.

Side note: this is also why I don't want any other person coaching this team next year - Payton, Haley - they are not about the physical style game. And as much as I like Tannehill, he's not Aaron Rogers (who is?) so anyone bringing a mindset other than being physical and trying to win the LOS is wasting their time.

Either that or bust out the wildcat!

D.Campbell on Patriots Schemes, Gronk, Pressures, Brady, their coach: He Get'...

Campbell was a TEs coach and former TE, I'm sure he knows everything needed to know about Gronk and how to slow him down.

Every time Coach breaks out a shirt I want to get it.

2015 Miami Dolphins. All in. All the time.

I just looked for that shirt online. Can't find it.

He's getting custom shirts made. This is the second one I've seen him wearing. They have the same color scheme as the NFL's "Salute to Service" shirts, but he's putting custom text on them.
