man i will tell you what this kid after reading his press transcipt and watching the highlight films this kid can play.they asked him who he compared to in the nfl he said "j.rice" i mean the kid is confident something you want in a wr i think we may have found m.booker replacement next year he will be in the three slot this year...:dolphins:

Yeah bro i agree. I saw him play against USC and he definately came to play. He had something like 10 rec. 125 yrds 2tds. This guy had a bad Senior Bowl which messed up his stock but if he can get passed the drops he's going to be awesome. I see Mushin Muhammed or Rod Smith before Jerry Rice.

His hands were more like glue his entire college carreer... the Senior Bowl was just one game... that really didn't matter in the end.

oh ya, Rod Smith type of productivity would be excellent. I liked this selection alot after watching his highlight reel. He knows how to make the sideline catches, and made one catch and held on after a crushing blow.

I think Hagan could be a great addition to the team. I don't see Saban drafting a WR that doesn't have good hands. But you never know. A lot of college superstars turn out to be busts in the NFL.

I just don't understand why we take a WR in the 3rd round when there other more pressing needs, like the offensive line, and depth at linebacker.

We could have addressed this need next year when we're picking late in the 1st round.

I think we got a steal in the 3rd again!..last year crowder, this year hagan
..I hope he can becone a good WR for us.

I dont know if the kid is confident or just delusional.......

Making comparisons to the best receiver of all time... When he wasnt even a top 3 in this draft..... He is setting the bar fairly high

Before the Senior Bowl Kiper had him as one of his top 3 recievers. This was purely based off his performance when it counted. Game Time. Now most state or agree to some degree that the measurables at the Combine while important doesn't give you a clear picture of how talented a guy truly is. I can train the specifics at the combine and impress a few of you with my numbers....But can I play football at the NFL level. Hell No. Id be on injured reserves the first day. I think Hagan can. His film suggest excellent route running ability and his speed IN PADS is impressive. He seems to understand what the game. I'm sure that once he learns our offense he will prove he was a steal in the draft. I don't know about you but I can't wait to find out.

Im willing to wager he recieves over 500 yards his first year.

he is a beast solid hands always finds space but from what i have seen he is not a deep threat like chambers and that ked we drafted im the 7thround

I hope he is right, but I also remember Jamar Fletcher when he was drafted comparing himself to Deon Sanders prior to even stepping on an NFL practice field. We all know how that worked out.

We were lucky to draft Dan Marino because of a a poor Senior season and unsubstantiated drug problem

Often these type of rumors plus rumors about injuries or poor combine results will drop higher rated players .

That presents opportunities for some bargain hunting to a team that does its homework.

Hagan developed a reputation for the dropsies in important moments. But the rest of his career has been stellar.

I like the pick.
