So I have to give some serious props to our D-Line. We shut down one of the best running attacks in the league and the goalline/ short yardage plays were amazing. I thought I would miss Timbo and CHester, but the new line played as well as I've seen a fins line play. It was great to see us so tough in the middle after being so soft last year. Traylor is an absolute monster and dominated the line of scrimmage. Carter was equally disruptive. I didn't notice the others as much, but it was a phenomenal effort by the entire group. Saban clearly knew what he was doing bringing in the vets.

I just wish we had a healthy Timbo...

My oh my what that would do if we could really have someone rotate in for Traylor. I suppose Wright can help and maybe McGill who's supposedly a good run stopper could help...

I still miss Timbo. Imagine what he could do in this defense.

Traylor looked just as good as TiMBO out there

Maybe Timbo last few years, but trust me you'd want a correctly used Timbo in his prime in this defense...

HOW THE HELL DID TRAYLOR STAY IN THE GAME SO LONG??? HOW DID HE DO SO WELL??? :D

I was wondering the same thing. It was SO hot and he's SO big. If JT had to take 4 IV's, he must need like 9. At any rate, he played awesome. My only concern is that we limit his snaps enough to keep him productive for the entire year.

No I don't think that will be a problem though. Large players tend to stay fresh later in the year, once they are in better shape. The fast players just get tired and lose their edge.

It would be nice if we still had Timbo, particualry the Timbo of a few seasons ago. But I'm just glad that we now have guys who can play at that high of a level.

Saban did an awsome job rotating DLine in and out of plays
