D Mac relative to our LT situation

it seems like alot of people are already penciling in our 5th round draft pick as starting left tackle and while i would love to have found a diamond in the rough, the idea of that relative to the nfl is comical at this point. im not sure why everyone has given up on mcintosh already. he had major ankle surgery, missed the entire offseason and training camp and probably rushed himself to get back in the lineup. i think that he will bounce back this year, 100% recovered from his injury and ready to contribute. he probably feels like he has something to prove and after taking a serious pay cut will have the determination to go out there and whip some arse!

Alabi will be competing for the starting spot. But i doubt that he will win since he has to compete with D-Mac,St.Clair and Carey.

If you actually believed that Nick Saban would give a contract to a player that stated he wouldn't sign or draft a potential left tackle if that player takes a pay cut, then I have some ocean front property in Eastern Kentucky to sell you.

Thats 4/5 new changes on the oline, and a new oline coach...we should be good to go

Am I mistaken but, isn't OT Carey's NATURAL position? he moved to guard his senior year due to all the Cane injuries.
