We may have improved on D BUT!! Our O is a mess. We dont know if Culpep will make it back and if he gets rid of his happy feet if our O-Line does not block.
Then theres ours our O-Line. What is our O-Line? We havnt improved as of yet and weve lost a couple of starters. I have to say guys but we may see a mess with our running/pass blockers if Houck cant perform magic in Cams 1st season.
I dont post many threads but im seriously p****d/worried with the state of our O-Line.Lets hope we load up on picks regarding the Draft. Our D will dominate if we get a decent DB be-it Safety or CB.

They said that about the Saints and Jets, we have a much better D then either of those teams if we can field a top 15 O we should be a playoff team, with Cam calling the plays we should Improve. We will have the QB situation fixed, at least enough to compete. Have faith.
 
yo Fan ... i would wait till after the draft before breaking the remote, adding holes in your walls, or picking up the prozac prescription.
 
Are offense was crap last year.I think we were in the bottom 20's.I feel we will have a beter o this year because CAM knows the O.And HH will work the line.We will bring in young guys from the Draft and FA.We should be better than alot of people expect.I have more faith this year,or i should say this regime that the last 3.We will be getting good play soon.Might need time to gell,but when it does,We will be to good for the NFL.I cant f@#$% wait.

Im happy with our D. DB is our only worry IMO. We got burned with too many deep pass plays last season. We havnt improved on that with any DB players via FA.
Cam will improve our O but to what degree? O-Line is a work in progress and QB is unknown and WR needs tweeking. And i wont go to the TE position. Martin isnt proved be-it Durabilty or stats.
I wont be negative totally because i do believe our D will be dominant and win us games but sooner than later our O-Line will have to conform to a Cameron Offense and block for our running game, pass to a pass catching TE and open up a passing game to our WR's which at this time is far away.
 
Im also worried about our D although our front 7 will be supreme what about our secondary? Who do we have over there? Granted last year we still ranked 4th total D but our secondary was nothing spectacular. Jury is still out on J Allen Im hoping they would actually start using him and putting him in a startng position be it S or CB. I wasnt impressed with Allen nor Goodman they were adequate at best. The only one that was consistent was Bell.
And like you said the Offense is a whole other story.

Draft picks unless they are No1 wont usually step up in 1st season (Carey, Allen,Roth) so i dont expect miracle players to make imediate impact. Im all for looking at future so im expecting with alot of Draft picks to see our team step up AFTER this season. I just hope im wrong and Cam and Houck can perform a bit of magic this season. i.e Saints. New Orleans did wonders last season but we still have to realistically win the AFC East before we can conquer the NFL and with the Patsies HC making major moves to get a SB this season we have a hard task on our hands.
 
This team is a work in progress and I wouldn't expect any immediate fixes. Cam hasn't had the team long and he inherited a team in shambles IMO. The defense does have a good foundation which is to be expected since our last three head coaches were defensive minded. It will take time to rebuild this team the correct way from the ground up.
This is a change for us to have a bonafide GM and not a head coach posing as a GM. I don't count Spielman since he was a figurehead for Wannstedt and never really filled the roll.
I am anxious for an improvement and a return to respectability but I will be patient because its a big job and must be done with care and patience.
We have had three headcoaches who all had tremendous egos that may having gotten in the way of logic. I really don't feel this coach is egotistical and he seems smart and level headed so for now I am content to sit back and watch the show as Cameron, Mueller, Capers, Houck and others do thier best to build this team.
 
Why not wait until we see who we have going into training camp before we decide whether or not we have anything to worry about.

No O-Line, QB situation unknown and new Coach might make you think twice though yeah regarding our O?

Well put and im with you on that. Just hope Fin Fans dont expect too much too soon.

Twice???.....more than that. I'm constantly checking to see if we've done anything to upgrade (or at this point, fill out) our roster. I'm just not going to stress out yet. We've got plenty of time.
