It's all Cristobal's fault. That roughing the passer penalty near the end of the game is on him for waiting too long to call the timeout.

Football season in South Florida is over early ... As usual.☹️

He coaches not to lose. He’s a *****. I’ve really grown to despise him this season.

Taking a knee with 25 seconds left and a timeout is disgusting. That sums up who he is as a game day coach, always coaching the game as safe as possible. Tired of it. Tired of him.

I no longer care what they do recruiting or in the portal. It truly doesn’t matter.

The situation between UM and Notre Dame reminds me of the situation ~25 years ago between UM and FSU when UM beat FSU but lost to Louisiana Tech and finished a fraction of a point behind FSU in the BCS standings. That was a travesty because FSU lost to Oklahoma like 13-2. UM would've annihilated Oklahoma like they did UF. But if Notre Dame loses to Pitt this Saturday, then this paragraph would be moot if UM wins out.

It'll be interesting to see if UM and Notre Dame win out and UM doesn't get to the ACC championship game and the rest of the ACC beats up each other and the second highest ranked ACC team is ranked 20th. If UM wins out they'll probably end up 7th or 8th.

Imagine this year's defense with last year's offense. That team would be unbeatable.😭

Considering what he's going through in Tennessee, I'll bet Ward wishes he stayed at UM another year. Did he have any eligibility left to do that? Probably not.

I’m convinced this crap is rigged. They tried to royally screw Miami today, AND miraculously Notre Dame wins 70-7 (I call bs, someone was paid to lay down), oh and let’s not forget that Utah CLEARLY fumbled the ball on their last possession which would have won the game for Kansas State, but no review then they go down and score? Hmmm VERYYYYY odd calls today

Apparently Syracuse has alot of injuries, and UM could jump Utah because of the way Utah won. You forgot about BYU. Cincinnati missed 3 FG's. If they make 2 of them, they might win the game.

There's a very interesting situation brewing in the ACC. Nobody has clinched a spot in the ACC championship yet. It's possible for there to be a six way tie at 2 losses if the following happens:

  1. UM wins
  2. SMU loses
  3. Virginia loses
  4. Duke wins

Who knows what happens if that happens.

There's A Yahoo.com article that says UM is already eliminated because Duke beat UNC, but on ACC Huddle on the ACC Network, they said UM was still alive.

Here's what the article(Which was published 11am Saturday Morning) says needs to happen for UM to clinch a spot:

Miami Hurricanes

Remaining Schedule: at Virginia Tech | at Pitt

  • Win out +
  • Need Pitt to beat Georgia Tech, UNC to beat Duke, Louisville to beat SMU.
Two of the 2nd bullet point didn't happen but the ACC Network people say UM is still alive. That article should probably be disregarded.

Here's the tiebreakers.

Is it possible that everybody is looking at the ACC the wrong way and penalizing them for being the most competitive conference?

I'm surprised at what I'm seeing with UM basketball. Other than the UF game their offense is crazy good. In their non-UF games, They scored 86, 101, 102, and 99 points. With 3 blowouts and 1 almost blowout. I know those are all high school teams, but I've never seen UM do that against that many high school teams in one season.

It probably doesn't matter because the transfer portal and NIL has made UM basketball irrelevant because it's not an elite basketball school. What about the location? Does anybody transfer here because it's Miami?

Did it look bad that Larrañaga left in the middle of the season? I understand why he left, but wouldn't it have been better to leave after the season was over? Maybe if you factor in recruiting and other off-the-court stuff, it was actually the best time to leave? I had no idea that he left until weeks or months later because I wasn't paying attention to the team because all the players that had any talent at all either went to the NBA or transferred, which left the team an embarrassment.

But the Larrañaga era was a fun ride, culminating with a Final 4 appearance.

Pretty sure we’re still in it, a lot has to happen but makes the last game that much more interesting. PITT will be a tough game, they played well at GT
