...and the Colts are one of three teams currently over the anticipated salary cap.

It's great for them that they are able to keep their players....but there really should be some kind of restriction against teams adding NEW money to their cap, while in the red. Right now they are 9 million over the expected cap of $116 million. I wonder if that number is before of after these signings?? Either way, they have some work to do by March 1.

Anyone heard of any Colts that might be 'set free' (thanks LeBetard)?

Havent heard of any but if theyre 9 million over, expect some good players to be cut. Good players that we should take a look at.

I'm more bummed about Lilja being resigned then Clark. I thought he would've been a nice aquisition. Jake Scott is still set to be a UFA. Could be a cheaper option at guard than guys like Faneca. Not as good either but certainly a solid starter.

yeah...I wanted Lilja too.

but it may be very possible that Colt O-Lineman may not fit with what our offense should be. Parcells + Sparano + Henning seems to = power running game, which isn't what I think of when I think Colts. there guys are definately pass blockers first. I could be off with this and one or many of them may be strong run blockers as well....but the Colt offense isn't a blow them off the line kinda offense, and I think those are the type of players we'll be after (like a Faneca)
