He's still out there right? All this worry about a WR and Clark is exactly what we need. A solid tight end with good receiving skills.

Doesn't matter if it's Manning, Flynn, Moore/rookie at qb. We do need a tight end either way.

Isn't it also possible to get Blackmon in the draft?

Im just trying not to get on the ledge just yet until I see how everything pans out. I've learned not to trust these media folks saying teams are frontrunners and this and that.

We could still end up with Manning or Flynn, Clark, a rookie WR in the draft, and a new RT via free agency.
 
Clark is all but Manning bait at this point.
 
Like what Hartline has shown. We need a middle threat to open him up more. Clark was a mess last year though and he's coming off of an injury.
 
Go watch Joe Philbin's press conference. He believe's in building through the draft like the Packers do. Not signing old FA players.
 
He had injury problems last year but so did Manning and everyone wants him. Im just saying that with Wayne signing with the Colts that doesn't mean we have less of a chance to get Manning. He may very well want Clark to come with him. Or even Jeff Saturday. We really don't know.

Im fine with that. But we can't get every position in one draft. You still have to plug some holes in other ways. A veteran tight end would help. Im all for rebuilding through the draft though...
 
Who wants the guy? He's done for crying out loud. He's missed half of the Colts' games the last 2-years. He's just a name at this point. Why not sign Hines Ward while we're at it? Get young, ascending players in here, not hot garbage.
 
only way i want long in the tooth injury prone clark is if manning comes with him...otherwise whats the point...i like clark but if we're in rebuild mode bringing him in makes no sense...neither would have reggie wayne...if we're in strike now mode then those guys make sense
