I saw the Dallas bubble was destroyed in a thunderstorm. Its an air supported bubble. What kind is in miami does anybody know? Does it have a frame or is it air supported?

During the Saban/Cam years it was full of hot air.

They have video of it from a cameraman who was inside at the time..... It's nuts if you haven't seen it.

I lived in the Texas Panhandle area (Lubbock) and the start of May is always the beginning of tornado season. It sounds like Miami's facilities and bubble can withstand hurricane winds but not much can withstand tornado type winds if you take a direct hit. Good to hear nobody died. I know a video guy from the Phins got hit by lightning a few years ago at the Phin's facility.

Breaking News! T.O. was seen on the top with a screw driver!

The Dolphins' bubble is air supported also. This allows them to drop the bubble in the case of a strong hurricane, although it can withstand hurricane-force winds. It could also easily deflate by a lightning strike, but there are a bunch of lightning rods around it to help protect it. I interned a summer at an engineering firm that helped build it

Wow. Bet that sucked being caught in the middle of that. Cant not imagine jogging on the field and all of a sudden that thing start moving around like that.

I find nothing funny with your post.Making a joke when people got hurt shows very little class on your part.

Cowboys special teams coach Joe DeCamillis suffered a broken back as a result of the collapse of the team’s indoor practice facility during a strong Saturday storm, according to the Associated Press.

LOL. you should hide under a rock for the rest of your life, if that how you really feel.

you just assume this guy knew some one got hurt. and just because some one got hurt doesnt mean the joke wasnt funny. there are entire classifications of jokes that are based around people getting hurt.

:lol2: Yeah real funny joke.

“They say he’s lucky not to be paralyzed,” said former NFL coach Dan Reeves, who is the father-in-law of DeCamillis. Reeves also said that DeCamillis likely will have surgery due to multiple broken vertebrae.

I live across the street from this place. Didn't even hear it. Crazy. The place has been a madhouse all day.
