Dallas Thomas Question?

I had a little time at lunch to watch Dallas on replay. I started when he and Moore came in, and finished at the half. This is far from the details I would like to give, and pales by comparison to others. However, time does not permit, and I do still believe it is a fair assessment.

I watched 25 snaps. On #1 he whiffed, and on #10 he got pushed back to disrupt a run. Aside from that, I saw absolutely nothing where he was anything but average, at worst, and no way did he suck. He was covered by a TE on 3 or 4 snaps but, he basically held his own.

Were most just watching snaps #1 and #10 or the other 23? :)

1- Whiff
2- good push out on the run
3- stand off
4- push out
5- push out.

6- good protect wit Te cover.
7- got downfield on the run.
8- good protect vs a stunt.
9- end around not involved.
10- Not good.

11- good pass block
12- got to the second level on a run
13- good push inside on a run
14- good protect on a swing pass
15- play to right, not involved

16-18- held his own in pass protect.
19- nice push inside for the run
20- same as 16-18

21-25- The same

He was a pretty good player at Tenn. This game tape should hopefully embarrass him and light a fire in his butt so that it doesn't happen again. He's better than what he showed Sunday night regardless of whether some feel he was out of position. He played LT and G in college, so he wasn't exactly in unfamiliar waters.
