I'd rather keep someone as scrubby as Douglas than him. I have no doubt that any one lineman on the roster would do better in real game action than him. They could definitely hold their ground better than turnstyle Thomas.

People saying that he should be kept as a backup make me scratch my head. The guy just flat out sucks. I'd rather the Fins take an undrafted 300lb lineman straight out of college than have Dallas Thomas on my team. Yes, he tries hard, yes, he may be a nice guy, but the kid can't play ball.
Let him go to the Browns or somewhere up in Canada and play.

He's bad and due to make almost $2 million against the cap. Cut and move on so we can be done with him.

Yea he has the ability to be horrible at just about any position on the line.

any average joe would be out of a job in seconds if they made the mistakes Dallas Thomas makes every game.
And that's the sad truth... I didn't pay attention to him last night but o assume he was still bad
Gase certainly played the Tunsil vs Thomas rest of oline situation with competence. He worked him in while fans screamed blasphemy, got him going later in the preason with the starters, and by game 4 he was resting with them, ready to go, having played well. Nice.
