WOW, I remember when we all wanted to see Woody in a Fin uniform, and Detroit nabbed him. I am watching the Jets Lions game and he looks like a tub of lard out there. SLOW as all get off. He moves about like McIntosh did last year on has bad ankles...

I'm hearing good things about Frank Middleton so far, and we got him for about 10000% cheaper than what we would have gotten Woody for.

I believe he is number 71 right? He played in the 3rd quarter I believe. What a freaking monster he is. I too think he'll slide into that RG spot with Hadnot playing center...

And a report just came out in the PB Post that Frank did really well in practice this week.

He's running with the 2's right now, but expect him to start on opening day.

Middleton played alot actually......One play that sticks out in my mind....Middleton was blocking somebody and put him on his azz.....Big man pu his forearm in the back of dudes neck then laid on top of him until the play was over....That was old school.

Another good block he had was on a passing play.....QB dropped back Middletons man was pressing towards the QB(Frerotte) and Middleton with ease guided him str8 out of the play. He is a very good lineman and will start. I recorded the game on DVR....I watched the game 4 times and i watched him every snap he was in...Flawless.

that is excellent news from camp...

How soon do you think Houck needs to "claim" the starters so they can get some consistency going? I would think after this game they need to have it pretty well finalized, use the next two games to get some real work in together.
