Dan Campbell HC when Jon Martin was on this team lol

I think my coffee just spit out of my nose after I listened to the press conference. Then a quick thought if he was the HC when Martin got his feelings hurt....

I think he would of just choked out Martin. What do you think would of been the outcome?

Jon Martin would have been cut in training camp the year he was drafted. Campbell would have realized quickly that Martin was a weak minded and soft player.

That was the problem with Philbin. His insecurity. Anyone that was capable of challenging him was cut or traded. Those were very good players we released and got nothing.
If those players were still here, this team would be in much better shape.

Yep - agree and with the fact that he has played as long as he did, has the physical stature he has, and is as direct as he is - I get the feeling that he wouldn't have any issue putting s#&t like that right and getting the best out of the players - as he spoke to. He might even put the fire up some of the coaching staff - I'm hoping that he does so with Lazor. Will be interesting to see the play calling going forward and if there was a shackled aspect previously.

Remember Incognito was Martin's best friend on the team.

He was trying to toughen Martin up in part because the coaches asked him to
