In five games in November, during which time the Dolphins went 4-1, Carpenter connected on all eight of his field goal attempts, five of which were from longer than 40 yards out. This included a 38-yarder with 38 seconds to play to give the Dolphins a 17-15 victory over Oakland on November 16. His field goals were the difference in three of the team’s four wins, while he also established a Dolphins rookie record with 11 straight successful field goals, a streak which is current. In addition, he hit on all 12 of his PATs for 36 points during the month.

Now if he can work on some some leg strength and kick off technique in the offseason.. at his age, we've got a kicker for at least 5-10 years.

At this point, he should be calling a realtor to look for some property in Weston, Davie or Southwest Ranches - and ditch those Montana tags if he hasn't already since it looks like he'll be a Floridian for awhile.

With how our ST's have been playing, anyone could've won that award, but still congrats. He's for real.

And lmao at the property comment. It is true, tons of pro athletes live in Weston

Well, a kicker is easier to quantify than, say, a gunner or long snapper. He's perfect on FG's aside from a block that wasn't due to a low kick. That's pretty dang good. He doesn't boom KOs out of the endzone, but, he does knock quite a few into the endzone. It's not really his job to tackle. He can't help that.

I have said this in other threads, but we really gotta give this scouting department alot of credit for finding some of these guys.

Bess . . . I mean we all had a feeling that he could come in and help our WR team

Carp . . . who would have ever though he would come in and beat Feely, I thought he was just complimentary competition when he first got here

Langford . . . what was thought to be a reach, is turning into a steal

Donald Thomas . . . I know he was hurt early, but to start at RG as a 6th round pick is pretty darn impressive

London, Culver . . hopefully this new WR we picked up . . . we are finding some young talent of the scrap heap, and they are contributing . . . when was the last time the Fins not only drafted well, but made smart decisions with UDFA's.

Funny how the leagues worst special teams unit has the ST player of the month . . .a little bit of irony there.

London has been in our practice squad for some time now and has played a lot of time in NFL europe. He's from a previous regime if anything.

i kinda regretted ever getting rid of mare but now im kindof relieved....

Are you sure about that?

Brandon London was signed of the Giants practice squad on 8/31/08. The Giants signed him in 2007 as an undrafted FA.
