Dan Fouts thoughts on Henne & D

Can you please summarize? I can't see the video where Im at.
 
It was a phone interview of Dan Fouts on Fins Insider.
It started off with Fouts describing the offensive output by Brady and Henne as amazing. He was especially impressed with Brady, but he gave Henne credit for keeping the Fins in the game and staying competitive.
He seemed to be concerned about the Fins running game in that game and going forward. It looks like a major weakness.
When asked about Henne from last year to this year, he thought he was improved and showing more emotion and Fouts thought DaBol was doing a great job helping Henne to get the ball down the field to Marshall.
When asked about the offensive explosion across the NFL, he thought it was due to the players basically practicing the passing game more during the lock out. He said it was similar to what happened during prior lockouts during his era.
When asked about the Fins defense performance, he thought is was a combination of Brady taking advantage of the Fins poor conditioning and his intelligence and awareness.
 
He actually talked more about the team as a whole and facing the Texans (he will be calling it). The question/statement posed to Dan was Troy thought that Chad Henne over the years was very robotic/coached up and he didn't think he could change, but was proven wrong on Monday. Dan said he has seen Chad play quite a few times and the one thing he noticed was Chads big arm. Dabol is taking advantage of that by using deeper routes and receivers like Brandon Marshall that can catch the ball anywhere.

He also said the lockout is a big reason why there are so many passing yards this season, because he went through 3 strike years and all you can do is go chuck the ball around. The running backs can run and stuff but there is no hitting or contact, so the big emphasis during the practices is throwing the ball.

i.e., the lockout.
 
Fouts is good on TV. Although I get the feeling listening to him when he speaks he is always smiling.
