did u guys see inside the nfl on thur were chris colinsworth said that him taking the fins job would have been worse than the hurricane and dan laughing about it why is he so down on the fins now what's the problem

I don't think he is down on the Dolphins, I think he has taken a lot of heat for the Dolphins! Why they kept DW is beyond me! I think he is just biting his tongue right now!:cooldude:

both of you are missing the point. Collinsworth is a good guy, and that was far from his intent... he was trying to knock dan, citing that he would be a horrible VP!

it was just a small punchline between the two, not a slam on our organization.

laugh it up!

Who is Collinsworth to say Dan would make a bad VP? I hope Miami wins, and shuts boney Collinsworth up!

Why is it that anytime ANYONE says anything the least bit critical about the Fins they are torn to shreds?? This just in: The Dolphins aren't a prefrect team by any means. People will crack jokes on them and be critical about them (as they are about every other team). And the people on the box with the moving picture (ie TV) are paid to give their opinions. If their opinion is "Miami sucks (insert laugh)" then so be it. They won't have a job on TV long if they are constantly wrong. If the Dolphins want to SHUT THEM UP..........just win. As long as the Fins lose (like last week) then the TV guys look like a genius and will only get a raise!

Some of us around here need to sack up and grow some thicker skin. I could care less what Marino or any other TV guy says about this team. They have no impact on anything. And this isnt like college football where they are hurting recruiting.

:shakeno:

humor is wasted on you. It was just the guys fooling around. To further that point, Marino probably WOULD make a poor VP. He's a great football player, but how do you know he'd be a good manager? does he have a business or psych degree?

Obviously Marino chose to stay with broadcasting - probably for a reason.

This is besides the point anyway, considering it was all a JOKE!

Who wouldn't want to stay in broadcasting. Great money. Greater hours. No stress. I mean, only an idiot would leave.

And the fact that Marino LEFT that job, only to take the Dolphins VP job, only to then quit that job and go back to TV shows me he is incapable of making a simple decision on his own life.........how in the hell is he ready to run a football organization?!?! Seriously, get your own life in order before you want to run a hundreds of millions of dollar organization.

Sure did, and I can't wait to see it this week when Collinsworth has to EAT those words ! ! ! Dan IS better off where he is, there has NEVER been any love lost between he and DUMBSTACHE to begin with, and as long as Dan remains apart from the team, he does not have to "act" like this is NOT the case...:shakeno:

No....
