So we all know that Dan holds just about every record a QB can. Except the TDs in a season (I hate that Peyton Manning:fire: .) With Brett Farve comming back do you guys think that at the end of this season, Dan will still have his TDs and completions records? I sure hope so, anyway Brett needs 298 completions to pass Dan and 24 TDs. I personally don't think he can. What do you guys think?

The only record Favre will be breaking this season is the career INT one. 22 to go, eh Favre?

Yeah, I just noticed this, too, recently.

Favre has never thrown less than 300 completions in any given season. And I think he only needs 289 completions. So I'd say that one is in real jeopardy.

The TDs are going to be something to keep an eye on this season for sure.

As long as he stays healthy, he'll probably break both because when your team is sub-par, you end up throwing a lot more always trying to come from behind.

But like LtDan said, Manning will probably break most of them.

I used to hate Peyton Manning. Then after he switch conferences, I grew to respect him. Thought he was a class act. But after he lost the AFC Championship game last year, he sounded like a crybaby when he blamed his offensive line. Even if you give him the benefit of doubt, and say it was his o-line's fault, he shouldn't have said anything to the media. It wouldn't have bothered me if he did it behind closed doors.

I think the only reason for him to come back is to break the TD record. There is no way on gods green earth that they go to the superbowl. So why else come back?

Well for one reason, my best friend is a Colts fan and I never hear the end of it that Peyton has Dan's record. I also don't like the way he conducted himself after the loss to Pittsburgh last year. He took no blame for that game and truth was, he played terribly.

the only reason Favre is coming back is to break some of Dannys records. He wont have them long though, Peyton will break them all in time. I would rather Peyton have them than Favre.
