Dan Orlovsky gushes about Mike McDaniel

Its a lot of fun having two coaches with such a unique perspective in Spoelstra and McDaniel. Miami is blessed. I know it might be sacrilegious talk this early in the man's career but something you can't help but think about with guys like this is how long until he burns himself out? You can only go at this pace for so long before it starts to wear you and everyone around you down.

Some examples would have been nice, but Orv did say he would save that for the broadcast.

Great find! Thank you.
Exactly. This is a textbook example of why they teach writers not to overuse adjectives. It's like saying nothing.

Why would you even go there? “ll bet it would hurt if I slammed my wiener in this door…” Your’re type of person who would do it just to feel the pain? Why oh why?

Absolutely! We should not and must not take for granted the coach we have in Mike McDaniel. He is Shula 2.0 with a twist for this generation of players. Unfortunately, he and Tua will still be judged by superbowls and playoffs. I hope these guys are given a lot of years to together to achieve these goals.

Meh! I'm sure he and the media will be crapping on the HC and the players soon enough.

What do you mean with "guys like this", what makes him more prone to burnout than anybody else?
