Dan Orlovsky on Tua’s Superpower.

He has some qualities that you look for in a franchise QB, at a very high level. He just needs to put it all together and grow into it. I'm patient...I hate the QB carousel. Build around him, work with him, get him the right guidance and players around him, and he'll grow exponentially. Massive difference between 2020 Tua and 2021 Tua...it's very easy to see.

Is this the Dan Orlovsky who has all the answers to how good Tua was, is, and will be? A gotdam high school All American would be impressive to this Average Joe.

He’s the Dan Orlovsky who was a backup QB in the NFL for 12 years.
Yes...he was wasn't he?

I can see how that can make him an expert in the field.

I don't put any stock in any of these guys. I've never even watched one of their blogs, or whatever they're called.

I do, however, find it amusing that they're idiots or smart is based on whether or not they're complimenting or critiquing Tua.

Edit: Orlovsky played for 12 years, and Simms played for 10 years and was an assistant coach for 1 year.

Some more good Tua stuff

▪ Brett Brecheisen of the Dolphins’ football communications department served up some Tua Tagovailoa nuggets on Thursday.
Among them: Tua’s 69.9 completion percentage this season leads the NFL... His 67.1 career completion percentage is the best through 20 games of a career in NFL history (minimum 500 attempts)....
He joined Drew Brees as the only players in NFL history with three games of 80 percent completion percentage in the same season....
Since returning from injured reserve in Week 6, here is where Tagovailoa ranks among all NFL passers in the fourth quarter:
Completion Pct.: 73.2 (1st)
Yards Per Attempt: 8.4 (4th)
Passer Rating: 113.2 (6th)
Passing Yards: 593 (8th)

Pretty much. But you’ll notice he hits on many of the same things Manning does…particularly that point above. It’s quite different than Simms’ garble, and he doesn’t call everybody that isn’t himself an idiot.
