Armando is openly speculating that Daniel Thomas' roster spot is in jeopardy and he facing stiff competition from Mike Gillislee and Damien Williams for the #3 RB spot.
We saw zilch from Gillislee last season, so it's good to hear that he's improved. I will be a lot happier when Knowshon is back to full health, but Miller is looking pretty good.

Armando is one of the worst reporters I have ever seen. How he thinks he has any knowledge of what football is baffles me.

I thought Mike played decent at the scrimmage, honestly think Thomas looked the worse that day but that was just one day we were able to see. Is he on the bubble, yes would think so.

Based on last year, Thomas is way better than Gillislee with more speed, burst and power. So, if he is in danger it's coming from Williams.

I'd like to see you do his job. What baffles me is people on this board more concerned with bashing the source of information than talking about the information itself. Grow up

IMO, Gillislee has a lot more upside then D Thomas has. He is quicker and faster and he runs hard for his size. Thomas is bigger but seems to more of a finesse back, he does not ever run over anyone. With ireland gone, there is no one to speak up for Thomas and he sure has not showed us much.

Every now and then he is informed by someone within the organization. This might have been deliberately leaked to fire Daniel up.

I am not comfortable cutting DT just yet. I want to see Moreno get back into action and how these young UDFA workout. Gillislee is obviously a factor too.

It is time to move on from Daniel Thomas. It is obvious by now that he is a below average running back. There will be guys that will be waived from other teams that will be at least as talented as him. Running back is one of the easiest positions to replace. I was actually surprised that the Dolphins did not draft a running back this year. They did, however, bring in a couple of free agent running backs after the draft and I would not be unhappy if one of them, Damien Williams, unseats Daniel Thomas for a roster spot. I am actually jealous of the Buffalo Bills because I think they made one of the best unheralded moves of the off-season by trading for Bryce Brown from the Eagles. I really like that kid's talent.

Bryce Brown hmm.
sounds like you may be worried because you live near a hated rival. i dont think a team would trade away a big time player for a late round pick.

as far as DT it has talen me longer than most to close the door on. he has some good runs but also goes down way to easy.i would give up on him if we had his backup really separating himself. we dont!! they all appear to have a little going for themselves.

Miller and Damien Williamd both looked sharp saturday at the Scrimmage could mean bye to D. Thomas

I agree with the the fact that Armando is a terrible reporter, and don't believe anything that he says. Why does he have to grow up over an opinion about a reporter, that's why he said what he said, because he probably does not believe what Armando writes. So chill out there Armando..... As for Thomas, I believe he sucks, and should be released. He has had his shot.

It's about damn time man. Daniel "Lay Down Ankle Tackle" Thomas should have been gone a year ago. He is terrible. Awful. Crap. Runs with lady parts. His Indian name would be "Falling Backwards" Below mediocre talent. The numbers speak for themselves. This dude off the team is a positive step in the right direction. Good Bye Dana Thomas, when the door hits you on the way out you will fall backwards one last time, 2nd round bust...

I think it is all dependent on Moreno. If Moreno can get healthy, I think Thomas is gone. Williams has been doing some good stuff in camp, and he is a possible returner as well. I think he makes the team. I don't think Gillislee makes it this year. I would have no problem moving on from Daniel Thomas. Our running game is going to struggle with or without him. He hasn't stepped up and I don't think he will. At this point, I would rather give Orleans Darkwa more of a look than Thomas. I have seen his name linked to more production in camp than Thomas.
