Exciting news from the Herald.

Cornerback Travis Daniels is scheduled to return to practice Sunday when the Dolphins begin preparations for Thursday's regular-season opener against Pittsburgh, marking the first time he participates in drills since the first week of training camp when he sprained his right ankle.

Allright, some good news on the injury front. Knock on wood.

You have to wonder if he was just kept out of the lineup to fully heal and could have played in the last game.

well, at least he's not going against a great receiving corps his first week back. Ward is really good, but not much behind him on that team.

Do we know yet if Ward is going to play?

This should put an end to the secondary concerns that some have....

Yaaay, so glad he's back. Now maybe some people on here can stop with the "our secondary is awful" threads. I've said it all along, nothing wrong with our secondary.

:woot:

great news i hope hes ready for holmes and ward:wink:

Given his knowledge of the defense, if he is healthy, he should be able to give us 20-25 plays at the nickle. Against Pittsburgh, I wonder if we will even need the nickle that much?

Saban won't put Daniels in a bad situation. Rust is rust and Daniels will have it until he gets plenty of reps. I don't see him playing a great amount of plays unless needed in DIME situations.

that is great news!!! hope hes fully healed, and ready to roll...

Good receiving core, or not...you can bet Roethlisberger is going to be picking on Daniels a lot Thursday night.
