Dansby needs to step up to save his own job.

It'll be interesting to see what "playing to save Tony Sparano's job" translates to in terms of who appears to take that task on, and how.

What I suspect is that this team won't look any different than usual, because there really are no leaders on the team who can take such a task to heart and disseminate it to the other players.

Now, if we had a leader the caliber of a Ray Lewis, a Tom Brady, a Drew Brees, a Troy Polamalu, a Tony Gonzalez, etc., who was really invested in such a mission, that would be different. But we don't have that player.

And even if we did have that player, it would be questionable, in this situation, whether the quote from Dansby was sincere or just a sound bite.

In other words, lots of stars have to align for Dansby's quote to translate to something different on the field today.

Again, what I suspect is that if this team doesn't generate a ton of momentum early in the game, they'll fall flat in a hurry, and "saving Sparano's job" as some sort of mission they're on will fly right out the window, if it was ever there in the first place.

If or when we get Luck, because we are that bad, you think one man will make us great again................Mmmm i dont see it.
we need so much it will take sometime.
We have a good RB, WR, LT, C , that is all on the ofence.
D/Line is good, 1 pass/rusher, 1 MLB, 1 cb, So you think one man can make us great again.
We need a lot, but i hope we can change it around but not too much that we miss out on a good QB in the 2012 draft.

I wonder if Sparano has lost enough weight so that can reach around and pull that dagger out of his back Ross and Ireland left in it.

The writing is already on the wall. As much as the players want to save him, it's time for a change.

Change in locker room attitudes. A change in practices. Change in philosophies (playing for FG's, 3rd and long calling short yardage or running plays, Picking olinemen over a QB in the draft?).

So honestly regardless if we win out I think it's just time for a change.

You could smell the bullsh*t from Dansby a mile away. If you're downwind, you could smell it from a couple of miles away.

Should be interesting to see if they want him gone, or if they really want him to stay. Today will translate how they feel then.
