i like this darian barnes guy i never heard of him till this year but he plays like a maniac and irespect that.even though he might be wierd
 
like his intensity, yes.... but he sure does miss a lot of blocks if the run isn't straight ahead...
 
Darian Barnes has made some nice blocks, but I dont think he is here long term. The team seems to be positioning for an H-back. Lorenzo Diamond(6'3" 260) was given a shot lining up as a lead blocking early on and seems to have not earned any more attempts. Heath Evans was a Rob Konrad style rushing/recieving fullback, but turned out to be a hideous lead blocker. Darian Barnes is playing fullback now, but the team doesnt seem to care for his ability to line up on the wing or like a TE.

I think Alex Holmes is who the Dolphins really want to work out for them. He has the same kind of build as Linehan's last H-Back, Kleinsasser at 6'2" 265. He has seemed to get increasing play time over the last few weeks, and has been playing a "true" H-Back.
 
That guy is crazy, but he's better than eath Evans
 
Unfortunately we'll probably end up releasing the guy. I thought the story was pretty cool, a contrasting character compared to all the other guys.

Bet hes a heck of a nice guy.

Who knows, Darian Barnes might stay after all.

I really like Alex Holmes I think he will be something great in this league, and if not great than at least a solid contributor

yeah but he is still getting used to starting full time, plus he has the enthusiasm that saban wants around the guys..lets face it hes pretty rowdy and i love that
