I want to hear from all you guys what or rather who do you think will be our suprise darkhorse players will be this year. I have a few that I think will make a major impact this year.

First: from reading all the reports I think that Pat Devlin will be our #2 guy and if he continues to shine at practice might challenge Henne. I live in Carolina and I don't think the Mat Moore will be any upgrade over henne.

Second: Our workhorse RB will not be Thomas (at least not this year). I think our new backfeild will be Polite and Hilliard with Bush being the change of pace guy.

Third: This is a two-for. Our safeties will be Wilson and Jones with Bell coming in to rest Wilson at times.

Ill say Clay the TE. I think Fasano will be the starter but Clay may put up better number. I think Fasano will be more of the blocker and Clay will be placed in on second an third down passing plays and will make a few plays this year.

I think Pat Devlin will be the starter by game 12. The team will struggle under both Henne and Moore.
Edmond "clyde" Gates will replace Hartline in the 2-3 receiver sets.
Sparano will be fired on week 11 and Mike Nolan will be the interim Head coach.

Heres a few....

Charles Clay will be this seasons Tony Moeaki (sp). Watched some tape, and followed the practices so far and he gives LBs nightmares.

Bess will make OJ McDuffie look like a rocket scientist when he surpasses Marshall as our top WR. I love Marshall, but the more film I watch on the two, the more I see Bess just destroy some of the best DBs in the NFL. Hes Welker, with a bit more burst.

Last but not least, two of our LBs will be pro bowlers and the third will be right there in the conversation. I think Wake & Dansby will both make it this year. I think either Burnett or Misi will be mentioned as possibles. The Lb core looks like a top 2 or 3 in the NFl right now and almost mirror GB's from last year.

Dolphins defense will be top three mentioned alongside Pittsburg and the jets.

Koa misi will reach eight sacks

Chad henne will be super bowl MVP

If chad is a super bowl MVP then all the work he did in the off season would have paid off.

We spank New England in the opener. 30 - 14 . Brady 3 ints. Marshall , Bush and Harline TD's. Defence is top 3 this year.

If that happens I wouldn't hope they keep Nolan as the Coach. He deserves a second shot.

Miami makes the playoffs, Jet's do not.

Top 5 Defense and a far more interesting Offense.

I live in Carolina as well and I think if it's the Moore of two years ago he will start over Henne. I think Devlin is a year or two away from becoming a starter IMO, really doubt it happens this year.

I think Charles Clay may be our biggest surprise but he'll be used as a pass catching TE and H-back only, don't expect him to start because of his lack of blocking. I'm expecting Mickey Shuler to be the 3rd TE/blocking TE on the roster.

I don't see many of the rookies making an impact outside of Pouncey and Thomas simply because there was no OTA and mini-camps. There's a lot to digest for them and not much time to do it so I don't see Wilson playing anything outside of special team.

I think Henne has a better year than everyone expects. Not an MVP year or anything even close, but a respectable year. Probably a year good enough that it merits serious consideration for re-signing him and if we need to draft a QB next year. Whether that's a good or bad thing, I couldn't say...

I think Henne will have a better season than last. ABout 20 TD's and 15 int's. Will make better reads and less checkdowns. Our D will be better than advertised and be top 5 like some have said. Sean Smith will be a Pro bowl CB. have 5 + ints.
With JT coming back and Odrick healthy will will lead the NFL in sacks. Moore will be the 3rd QB and Devlin #2. We will make the playoffs at 11-5 and make it to the 2nd round for the 1st time in 10 + years.

If this happens i'd be ecstatic either way a guy can dream.
