Darlington kind of suggesting were in a rebuilding mode

We must find a way to get Tannehill or Weeden

OR any young Qb our new offensive staff thinks we can develop into a franchise guy. The AFC East is for the taking in the next 2-3 years if we can only get that top caliber thrower. Philbin and Sherman were brought in to help us get that guy. GET HIM

The doom and gloom on here is getting ridiculous. Don't think you guys are understanding how Marshall trade is addition by subtraction. There is a great post on another Phins site that looks at this statistically. No, I'm not saying we'll be fine with Hartline as our #1, but we will draft a WR and probably sign Manningham or Robinson. We are better off without Marshall, and it pains me to say that as I was a huge fan.

I think this is the common theme since 2002.. Doom and Gloom.. These actions have no reason for anyone to think otherwise, or be optimistic anymore.

A bunch of overreaction in this thread. We're not rebuilding like the Colts. We're just retooling. Sure we have several holes, but we're not as far away as some of you think.

Only major area I see we are rebuilding is WR. With Marshall gone your better believe there is gonna be some competition coming at WR. Bess, Hartline, and Gates better come prepared. I wont be shocked to see atleast 3 new WR come in through draft and FA. Would love to see Blackmon somehow. Top ten WR sounds good. Considering GB is 5 deep at WR, I would like to think Philbin learned a little.

Its all about the QB tho. Hope for Peyton and if not, pray Flynn or Moore is awesome.

This.

We passed doom and gloom 5 years ago...

How many years does it take to freakin re-build? 6 years??? cause the first 3 years have gone down the toilet and now it seems were' starting over again

Everytime we change coaches we enter 'rebuild mode'. That's why its so important to find a good head coach which creates stability in the organization. We keep changing philosophies and what type of players we want so its a constant roster shuffle to get the right mix and of course the draft is a crap shoot and we have a really bad record which makes me think our scouts aren't that great.

When your good you retool to stay at your level whn your 6-10 not sure how that helps you

We lost a lot of close games. I think they just gave up on Sparano. If Philbin is a good coach like he seems I think we can compete.
