Hello guys, just want to know your opinion. It seems like we will probably get stucked with the no.1 pick (no trading partner). What are our option: LT, DT, DE or QB. Let's face it, Matt Ryan doesn't seem to be a sure bet. Glenn Dorsey: his stock went south a bit recently and with Ferguson, we have bigger needs elswhere. OT: there a lot a depth in the draft so we can draft a solid one at 32. Chris Long: he would be my no.1 and also the logical choice. BUT, we all know that the best at making smoke screens is BP. If you cannot trade down and you have to guarantee $30 millions, why not go with the BPA. BP is sending the message that RW will be backing up RB but RW hasn't play for 3 years and there are no certainty concerning RB. Why a team interested in DM would trade with Miami if they know he could be available later? So what do you guys think of drafting DM. Then we get a deadly combination of running backs or we also have the option of trading McFadden for more picks.

By saying that RW is apart of the plan, could it be the smoke screen BP is doing.

Thoughts ???

If we drafteed macfadden it will be pointless because the teams will hold all the cards. The draft is fukk of rb's they could just say screw and we get stuck with a huge contract and miss out on Chris Long or Jake Long. No way we draft mcfadden.

i could never justify taking an olb with the number 1
u said that there is a lot of depth at tackle which there is btu a lot of those wont reach our 32. baker is a bust and godell looks more like a 1st rounder. but to answer ur question if we took DMC i would put a gun in mouth

Wouldn't mind it one bit, I being a native of Arkansas and the U of A, am very aware of what this guy is capable of. I've been preaching it on deaf ears though. I know we have so many needs, but believe this.......if he gets a tiny crease, its "see ya later". Hes gonna bring it to the house all day I'm tellin you. Remember these posts, cuz he's gonna light it up wherever he goes. I only hope its with us. We don't need him, true, but God would I love to have him on the team behind RB. Just nasty.....my 2 cents

if u want d mac u r obviously more of an arkansas fan than a phins fan because dmc would be a total waste and not help our ball club one bit

Dude, if you think he's gonna come in and do nothing you're losing your mind. I'm just pointing out the guys talent, and he's got a lot of it. Saying he wouldn't help the team is ludacrous completely.

Slippery Soap has just been informed thru inside sources that the Dolphins will indeed take Darren McFadden with the No.1 overall pick! I have even dumped my signature in anticipation of this.

You Doubt Slippery's inside angle :err:

Heres the reason why. With the first pick it does not matter what other teams do they are at the mercy of the Miami Dolphins. They are waiting to see what we do!

Here are the Smoke Screens being floated around by the Fins.

1. Why Chris Long will not be the pick: :shakeno: Jason Taylor, Joey Porter, Channing Crowder, Reggie Torbor. Jason Fergerson, Randy Starks Vonnie Holiday and Matt Roth. Chris Long has no position to play he is a right defensive pass rushing end and we have the best in the business at that position allready and he is not being traded or going anywhere.

2. Why Jake Long will not be the pick::shakeno: Projected as a RT because in the NFL does he not have the lateral quickness to play LT. Why spend the top pick on a right tackle when you can get one in the second round. Sparano an offensive line coach by trade could turn a 2nd round RT into a starter. I doubt they would keep flip flopping Vernon Carey. Carey can continue to develop as a left tackle plus they will have to pay Carey big bucks next season if they want to resign him. Carey stays on the left side.

3. Why Glen Dorsey will not be the pick::shakeno: Knee and back injuries are lingering issues. Plus the position was allready addressed with Fergerson and Starks.

4. Why Matt Ryan will not be the pick: :shakeno: Though I like the idea of drafting a franchise QB with the No.1 selection. Ryan is not a clear cut must have franchise player. The fins cannot afford to make a mistake on another QB no matter what Sparano or Mike Mayock say.

I confidently predict Darren McFadden is the selection here is why: :hi5:

Sparano said in his press conference that he was not tied to one player at the top leaving the door open for DMC.

DMC will do what the other 4 guys will not be able to do. FILL SEATS, SELL MERCHANDISE AND MAKE MONEY FOR ROSS AND WAYNE.

The Dolphins have not mentioned Darren McFadden by name. They have mentioned Long, Long and Ryan over and over again.

McFadden is the most dynamic player available in the draft. You can line him up with Ronnie or Ricky in the backfield or split him off in the slot and you have an immediate problem for any defense. He will make the QB look better because defenses have to account for him at all times, something they never had to do with Ronnie. It will be like having the Ricky Williams of 2002 in 2008.

That the info Slippery has. Time will prove the Soap correct.

NOW IM DONE...............:beer1:
