Imma leave you fellas with this point... David Carr ... behind the Houston Texans horrid line... with his starting rb out for the season... and 2 reliable recievers .... has 7 tds and 2 ints. with a 108.9 qb rating...... daunte culpepper behind another horrid line... with a "above average?" running back.... and atleast 2 reliable recievers has 2 tds and 3 ints. with a 77 rating

I am not putting all the blame on DC because i realize the phin defense contributed to carr's rating but all im saying is that if daunte is as good as everyone says he is.... then why is david carr performing better than him in a very similar situation. and by the way dont even mention the coordinator because its not like houstons coordinator is extrordinary because face it... you would probably have to go look his name up on nfl.com to find out who he is.

There are many problems with the dolphins right now and all most of us are saying is that DAUNTE IS ONE OF THEM .....not that he is the only one.... he is just the scapegoat because he isnt performing and its hard to pick out missed opportunities of the o line in a forum like this.

You can play this game all day. Why don't we compare Daunte with Rothsleberger.

Not to mention David Carr was going against the 7th ranked defense in the NFL:
http://www.nfl.com/stats/teamsort/NFL/DEF-TOTAL/2006/regular?sort_col_1=4
a defense that gave up 16 points per game or almost half the points Houston gave up in their first three games. (although Miami's defense is only 19th ranked by yards per pass attempt given up)

And Culpepper was going against the absolute worst defense in the NFL, a defense that gave up 98 points in it's first 3 games, 480 yards per game.

Good idea. Let's compare him to a QB that is playing horrible so that Daunte's play looks better.

Big Ben has proven himself for Pitt... i mean forreal? he won a super bowl for them incase u didnt notice.... what has daunte done for us? exactly he hasnt proven anything yet.....

yeah, but he also had the lowest QB rating ever in a Superbowl by a winning quarterback: 42% completion rate, 2 interceptions, 0 touchdowns, a 22.6 passer rating

-although his regular season stats were really good (98.6 rating).

better yet lets compare all these QBs to Carr this year...guess they should all be benched. because they arent even close to Carrs league leading rating of 108... LMAO

Well didn't he just do the let's compare him to a qb that is playing well so Daunte's play looks worse.

What the hell can someone prove in 4 games. Talk about impatient. I guy bust his *** to get ready to play after severing 3 ligaments, improves every week and you have concluded that he will never do anything for the dolphins. Gimme a break.

Did not know that, strange since his career passer rating over four years and 64 games is a paltry 76.0. I wonder what the difference was these last four games...
