Is he going to be ready for the 1st game, i seen somewhere else that he was??

No one really knows yet. I prefer he does not rush it. I'd rather have a healthier Dante start in October.

That's true, but if he's ready, there's no reason he shouldn't play.

I think he can be ready. He's been progressing well and can already do 3, 5, and 7 step drops, he's rolling out and throwing on the run, and hes also tucked the ball and run the ball when he there were no open receivers.

After practice a week ago, Zach Thomas, Chris Chambers, and Kelly Campbell all said he looks really good and they would be suprised if he wasn't ready.

I want him to be, but I don't want to rush it. This is why we brought in Harrington. If Culpepper isn't ready, let Harrington take the reigns while Daunte recovers so he can be around for a long time!

I'd also like to know the price of oil, gold & GOOG 3 months from now. Bueller?

Doesn't matter, JH will tear up the league if he starts, then DC will be better off if he waits till he's 100% ready.

I see him missing the first 4 games of the season, we should be OK, our schedule is easy anyway. I would love to see him start the season though.

Worst case, I'd say he misses 2-3 games at most. Though don't be suprised if you see him in the lineup come opening day. The only thing that we should be concern about is if his knee swells up any after a practice or a game.

No one knows how easy the schedule will be until the season starts. A victory against any team in the nfl is a tough task.

Daunte should play as soon as he's ready. Screw this %100 healthy business. Very few players are completely healthy especially after a couple of games.

i dont care if its august or november, i just want him to be 100% healthy when he steps out of that field. why take a chance???
