Will history repeat itself? Will he get his revenge? Time will tell...

what kind of revenge can you get in a pre season game??? you should get a job being the host for unsolved mysteries.

haha your acting like it was there fault for tackling him in the open field. Daunte ran the ball and got hurt on his own. You can't blame the panthers for it.

Maybe it will motivate Daunte to light them up, but in all honesty I think that it won't have any effect.

Well, I try but I won't quit my day job.

Well i guess we should assume he'll play 1 qtr. atleast...
A Nice scramble and a few more of those TD drives with maybe a TD pass would be huge but Carolina has a dam goood D.

Carolina isn't a cheap shotting team and would never deliberately hit anyone low. Unlike that POS team down below here in the ATL that take pride in crap like that. I'm sure they know Daunte is playing and probably Minter and co. was calling him apologizing and making sure he was alright after it happened. They are a classy team up here and If my heart didn't alrady belong to another they would be my fav. At least their in a differant division and I hope we beat them in this years SB.

haha i didnt even think of it until you mentioned it, i dont think daunte will hold any grudges and do just fine....its preseason enough said, the real revenge will be against the vikings during the regular season this year

I can't believe this thread was even started. :shakeno:
Why? He will be facing the team that he was injured against. If I'm a producer, I would play that up for the game.

Based on my understanding of preseason, the 3rd game of the preseason is the last game where we will see the starters, the 4th game is going to be strickly backups, maybe 1 series for the starters.

Pep played a quarter and a 1/2 against the bucs, I would guess he and the rest of the starters will play at least 2 maybe even into the 3rd quarter, against the panthers.

Severed his leg???

I remember him hurting his knee, but this is the first time I have heard that the Panthers cut his leg off.

I be pissed too.

That's why it's a miraculous recovery! The wonders of modern medicine.
