Hello everyone, just to let you know I'm not brand new here, I just had something very odd happen with my account earlier today and to make a long story short I had to re-create a new screen name. I stay in touch with "FinFaninCali" on a somewhat regular basis because we both live in the San Diego area.

Now, with that being said, I really want (as I'm sure lot's of other people here do) to believe the top brass know what they are doing and yes, we must all wait and see how the players develope on the field once the season begins, but I have a serious question.....

What is the true status of Daunte???

I only ask because I have read many many threads on here from various people saying he has a disease in his Knee that require's constant scoping, then I hear he is on track to recover for this season due to him doing yoga, then I hear he is completely done and we are trying to shop him around. Then I hear we are just going to flat out drop him and pick up Trent Green when he is released on June 1st.

I am a bit tired of all the speculation about Daunte, is there anyway we can find out his true status?? Is he walking? Is he running? Is he practicing in anyway whatsoever with the team??? I just don't know, but if he is ok and will be healthy then getting him the help of Ginn, Satele, and Lo Booker make sense.......right???

I hope someone on here can help me,

Now I'm going to have my 12th Saphire and tonic. Started drinking right after the 9th selection announcement.

I think it is going to be ok. I don't know if anyone knows for sure what DC's status is. Many times you suffer a knee injury and you feel fine walking around but you cannot tell until you are back peddling and trying to escape pressure in a real game, whether the knee will hold up.

I personally think DC is done and will be cut sometime soon, and we will get Green as insurance and as a backup to Lemon. Green can groom Beck. I also was a little unhappy with the 9th pick, but after a nice drive in the mountains I calmed down.....then I saw us take Beck, and I am happy once again. :)

he had knee surgery and shoulder surgery....hes a mess....at this point im ready to see Lemon start
