Having painfully watched the entire game yestersday it's obvious that DC thinks he can do more than his body is currently capable of. He is seeing coverages and blitzes, his mind says run, but the legs just aren't there yet. In fact he is, with out a doubt, very frustrated right now. I'm sure this is no surprise to Saban, but I do think he was expected to make better decisions, that is the troubling part. He almost looks like a rookie QB, with his gun he shouldn't need to take sacks, period. Until he comes to grips with his current physical state and changes his mental approach to the game we will be in for this type of game.
With that being said, DC is also the type athlete that will get through this. To get to were he is right now physically after that kind of injury is a testiment, but it is going to take time. I just look forward to the game he breaks out and HE WILL!
