dave's ego has gotten out of hand. if he wants to gag his defensive coaches, fine. dave has the resume as a defensive coordinator to do that. but dave, shut for F ing yap and let the offensive coaches speak. you know nothing about offense!!!! NOTHING!!!!!

You let everyone talk to the media, especially with a QB competition, and soon there are conflicting opinions being printed.

Imagine how Wanny would feel if it was on record that his other coaches had wanted to start Feeley, but Dave chose Fielder for the Titan game. :o

There were rumors anyway, but not as bad as a clear printed record. Wanny would look pretty foolish. Then there is the chance that there has been conflicts between some of the coaches, regarding the OC position? I think we shall learn later what has been really going on behind closed doors.

I think it is less ego and more Wanny being scared to show the indecision and conflict on this team/coaching staff.

Don't you "get" it? Trestman might be singing Feeley's praises all over the place. Wannstedt and his..er...attachment to Fiedler couldn't handle that.

Trestmans job is to coach the QB's and assist the head coach.

Why should Wannstedt do this Media any favors by granting them any interviews with any of his coaches?

Like it or not...Wannstedt is the lone voice when it comes to the team on the field. Deal with it.
