i dont know if any of you guys saw this on the official site...he has an after practice press conference transcript...i hope he can get back to being a great player...if he can, along with chambers, booker and mcmichael plus ronnie and rw than this offense could be very dangerous...lets hope the o-line and qb situations pan out...maybe this year we will actually score points...one more thing on boston, after seeing what his answers were to the questions they asked him, it does seem that he has his head on straight...

after a football practice, and you've been hit, winded, bombarded with instruction....may not be the most clear minded time for anyone. Just a thought.

I read that he was absent from practice today and Saban found that "puzzling" since Boston said he is feeling 100%.
He has also been underperforming in practice (I read again). this all sounds troubling to me, unless some sort of an explanation about the absence comes tomorrow. :(

Its good to see him get his *** in gear Lets see what he can do this year.

he may be tired, but like JD said, looks like he answered the questions pretty good (as if he has his head on straight)

I've read the past couple days that Boston has been running fast and made some nice catches.

its probably taken him a while to get used to practicing again...boston could be a major weapon if he returns to his old form...i know...big if...

After getting to Miami, He got hurt and then tested positive for perf. enhancing drugs. I would think that he would have a pretty big chip on his shoulder and would want to prove himself. Think of the possibilities with Boston, Booker, Chambers and McMichael If whoever ends up behind center is protected and can get the ball down field. That with a running game would be pretty special!!!!

Where did you read this? I have heard all positive things about Boston. I've been reading the camp reports and Miami area sports pages everyday. Did I miss something?

I'D BE WORRIED ABOUT....
WR David Boston not being on the field during the scrimmages. Even Saban doesn't know why he wasn't out there, but said he often finds out later. David told the media on Saturday that he's 100 percent, which makes his absence all the more puzzling. Still, he hasn't exactly been lighting the world on fire so far. He's pretty invisible right now. Derrius Thompson has totally outplayed him.

the palm beach report yesterday said thompson has been outplaying him so far. now thats not to sound negative. but for most people, boston not being able to clinch the 3rd wr spot is a real dissappointment.

Saban said he simply wasn't aware of why he wasn't out there, and that he usually finds out later.
Considering Boston hasn't played in a year, its not surprising others may have the jump on him. But being only the 5th day of camp, and already regaining his confidence back, Thompson may not be looking back at him for long. ;)
