What do you guys think. I say after Booker gets back, we move Boston to TE and go with a 2 TE set. Think about it. He is DEFINITELY big enough to do some blocking, and with his skills as a WR, he would instantly be one of the better pass-catching TE's in the league.
I believe like a lot of you guys do. That his best days as a WR are over. He doesn't have the ability to create separation like he used to. But that would change if you plugged him in at TE. He would eat linebackers alive. To counter that, teams may take out a linebacker and put a corner on him. Good. Then there's one less LB to worry about, and we run the ball far more effectively. It could be a win-win situation here, fellas. It all depends on if he can block.

Boston can't even stay on the field as a WR without hurting, how will he play a more physical position?

I think not!

The doctors all say his knee is fine. I think we give it a shot. He isn't much good to us as a WR right now. He makes minimum salary. I say we "think outside the box" and give this beast a chance. I think he would flourish.

He has not played in a few weeks because he has a bad knee. Everytime he has played he is not doing anything. He gets hurt running, and now you want him to block a DE or a LB and run routes.

Will never happen.

Maybe you're right. But I'd like to think that we could still get something out of this guy. I think if he's going to make it in this league anymore, it should be at TE. Maybe it won't happen in the next few weeks, but once that swelling goes away in his knee, I say we make him our 2nd TE.

boston is done...

was a low risk gamble that just didnt pay out...
